Children are able to understand and do more than we expect them to do most of the time. We don’t need to underestimate their mind and power, because they have proven more than once, that sometimes they can act better and wiser in many situations than many grown-ups would.
This is another very good example of that. The story’s main hero is a 7-year-old girl Mariah Galloway who did everything to save her grate-grandmother’s life. She got stuck underneath the rolling SUV.
Mariah told that her grandma was picking her up from school and when they arrived, she thought that the car was in park but it actually was in reverse. She tried to stop the car as Mariah was still in it. So, she tried to save Mariah’s life and then the little girl did it for her too.
That is when the little girl knew what to do very quickly. She pulled the keys out of the car and rushed to call for help. She was forced to witness how her grate-grandmother’s leg was bleeding. It was the part that was hurt the most. But she is a very mature girl and is happy that everything ended well.
