I was surprised to learn I was having triplet boys after being told I was having girls during five scans

To my surprise, I ended up having triplet boys after being told I was pregnant with girls for five months.

The mother, who was convinced she was having twin girls, even spent £500 buying clothes for what she believed to be her uts before realizing there had been a major mix-up.

Gina Dewdney, a dental therapist, was overjoyed to learn that two of the twins she was expecting would be girls on five separate occasions at various services. She and her 34-year-old husband Craig prepared for the arrival of their children by stocking up on pink apparel and accessories for their “uts,” taking their sonographer’s word for it.

However, they were shocked to learn during Gina’s 24-week checkup that the twins they had been led to assume were females weren’t; instead, she was carrying twin boys instead.

“I had a feeling I was carrying twins at the beginning as I felt t,” Gina admitted. I have x sts, ts, and s. I wasn’t shocked when the third baby arrived at 13 weeks, but I was completely shocked by it. I underwent ss every week because tts is an s-s pregnancy. We learned they are identical twin girls and one male at 16 weeks. I couldn’t wait to enjoy the best of both worlds.

Gina stated that she and Craig bought suitcases full of girlie clothing for their new arrivals, including girly bibs and dummies. The couple had even begun looking at girly names for the little ones. Gina said that after forming a link with her “ᴅᴀuɢʜtᴇʀs”, she felt “ᴅᴇᴠᴀstᴀtᴇᴅ” when it was later discovered at her 24-week ultrasound that the girls were actually guys.

Jaxon weighed 2 pounds, Jenson 2 pounds 7 ounces, and Jimmy was the largest of the three, weighing 3 pounds. The trio was born in 1 minute and 52 seconds.

Gina remarked, “The babies were born at the exact same time, which is very unusual for tts.”

She claims that, looking back on her pregnancy, she can “totally understand” how the sonographer misidentified her infants for weeks.

“The babies would never sit still,” she remarked. “It was difficult for them to see each baby from all the angles because there would always be a leg or an arm in the way.We are so appreciative of the hospital professionals who looked after our babies because without them, they wouldn’t be alive today, Gina added.

Even though the boys share a similar appearance, Gina said that her three sons already have distinct personalities.

She remarked, “Jimmy’s the joker, Jenson’s dramatic, and Jaxson just sits and watches the other two.

The mother of three gave readers a glimpse into what it’s like to have newborn twins, tease that her home has changed to “ᴄʜᴀᴏtɪᴄ” and explain that they go through 30 diapers daily, approximately 24 bottles, and a “tub of formula every 48 hours.”

Gina claims that the bags of girls’ clothing she proactively purchased are still hidden in the cabinet and that she is keeping them there in case she and Craig ever decide to adopt.
